LOW COUNTRIES. Verenigde Nederlanden (United Netherlands). 1581-1795. Ducat (Gold, 23 mm, 3.36 g, 3 h), a Levantine imitation of a Westfriesland Ducat, dated 1649. Knight standing right, holding sword and bundle of arrows. Rev. Legend within ornately framed tablet. Cf. Delmonte 836 and Fr. 294 (for prototype). Traces of overstriking, otherwise, very fine.

This is a contemporary imitation from the Levant with slightly blundered legends
